HANDOUT – VOM GEBEN UND NEHMEN
Networking, becoming visible and making visible.
These are the topics of the first issue of Handout, a magazine of the Bremen University of the Arts / Bachelor of Arts / Integrated Design program. Handout has the feel, format and finish of a classic newspaper, yet it is an experimental communication platform that breaks new ground in terms of content and appearance.
The inward-looking view wanders. While the information material of a handout is usually withheld from the participants of a group, it is addressed to the public in a transformed form.
University stagings merge with private snapshots and superficial sexting with political statements. A large collage - about feeling and thinking in a pandemic.
The editorial content of Handout is complemented by photographs taken within the fashion and photography course "Das matschige Auge der Mumie" by Prof. Ursula Zillig and Joachim Baldauf.
